WorkSafe Maldives is a non-governmental organization
registered in the Maldives,
dedicated to work towards the promotion of work place health and safety in the Maldives. A safe work environment is a basic right of every worker and our aim is to create awareness of this as a basic right through proactive initiatives engaging both workers and employers to make work place safety a norm, rather than the exception at every work place.
WorkSafe Maldives advocates for rights of workers to a health and safe work place
WorkSafe Maldives advocates for rights of workers to a health and safe work place through provision of free training on workplace safety to migrant and other vulnerable workers and stakeholder institutions. In addition to training, the NGO provides free legal advice on workplace health and safety related matters to migrant as well as low income workers.
