Worksafe Maldives has in collaboration with UMYR Institute commenced training in OSH in the Maldives targeted for managerial staff in key industries. The first training programme on “Occupational Safety & Health for Managers” was conducted on the 18th to 21st of August 2022 followed by a second round of training for managers on 25th to 29th September 2022. We are pleased to note that some leading companies in construction and SOE’s participated in these programme making it evident the importance given by these companies to safety in the workplace.
